WHAT is Celebrate Recovery? Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered and Bible-based 12 Step Recovery Program. The purpose is to focus on God's healing power through fellowship with others. By working the 12 Steps and the 8 Beatitude Principles, groups open up, share experiences, explore hope and move out of the problem and into the solution. How's this possible? Our Group Guidelines require anonymity and confidentiality, insuring a safe place to open up and share. Take a few minutes to watch and listen to real people who found hope and freedom at Celebrate Recovery.WHEN does Celebrate Recovery meet?We meet every Thursday night from 6:30 pm--8:30 pm. (Children are not permitted in any CR meeting regardless of age--so please make other arrangements for child care). We also start with a great meal at 5:30 pm (free--but donations of any size greatly appreciated). This way you can come straight from work and not worry about dinner. We also offer complimentary coffee and tea. After the Large Open Meeting and Small Groups (Open Share Groups) we get together in our Victory Cafe for complimentary dessert and fellowship from 8:30--9:00 pm. What a fun time!It is not necesssary to register for Celebrate Recovery to attend--just show up--no cost!
HOW is Celebrate Recovery led? Celebrate Recovery at Victory is led by Christians who have been through 12-step recovery themselves and Christians continuing to grow through the 12-step recovery process. We understand. Some of us have been dealt tragic blows in our lives. Our choices caused painful and lingering consequences, leading to guilt, remorse, grief, and shame. We can truly understand and lead others. We've overcome addictions and/or other compulsive behaviors. We're also still "walking the walk" growing daily. This is a program of progress--not perfection.
